Governance Committee

CFT is overseen by a voluntary ten member Committee that is drawn from people with lived experiences of CF, as well as individuals with business and governance experience.

Scott Lancaster

President

Scott joined the CFT Committee in 2001 after his first child was born with CF.  Scott became President in 2010, holds a Bachelor of Business, and is an Australian Institute of Company Directors graduate.

Judi McGee

Vice President & Public Officer

Judi has been on the CFT Committee since 2007, when her first son Aaron Mackrill was President.  She has held the position of Vice President since 2009 and, after Aaron’s passing in 2010, established a scholarship in his name for Tasmanians with CF.

Eva Ewe

Treasurer

Eva joined the Committee of CFT in 2017 and holds a Bachelor of Law and Masters of Professional Accounting.

Stephanie Apted

Secretary

Steph joined the Committee of CFT in 2022 following many years of leading CFT fundraising events.  Steph holds a Bachelor of Social Science and Human Resources.

Committee Members

Sam Fox

Sam has a Bachelor of Human Movement and a double major in Outdoor Education and Sports Science and is a mother of a child with CF.  She joined the Committee in 2015.

Donna Emery

Donna is a mother to two children, with the eldest having CF.  She is a passionate advocate for research and affordable new medications and joined the Committee in 2018 to add her voice of support.

Bridget Caplice

Bridget holds a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Law and joined the CFT Committee in 2014 in memory of a close friend who passed away from the condition.

Lynden Leppard

Lynden has a Master of Education and a Doctorate of Education.  Having a young relative with CF, he was motivated to join the Committee in April 2022.

James Kleinig

James is an adult living with CF, a father of three and a talented jeweller.  He joined the Committee in 2020 to be a voice for adults with lived experience of the condition.

Emily Stride

Emily holds an Advanced Diploma of Human Resources and Business Management and has a daughter with CF. She has been a member of the CFT Committee since

Life Members

Life membership is the highest Award recognising individuals’ exceptional contributions to Cystic Fibrosis Tasmania. The following people have been awarded life membership of CFT since its incorporation in 1995.
