Making a Donation

Cystic Fibrosis Tasmania works hard yearly to raise funds to support Tasmanians living with CF. We rely on the generosity of our supporters and donors, as well as occasional small grants or bequests. Every donation enables us to continue delivering vital services to Tasmanians living with CF and their loved ones. You can help us today.

Events

Infection Control at CFT Events

The health and wellbeing of all our members and guests at events are important to our Association.

For this reason, we have put several guidelines in place to achieve this. This policy limits the attendance of people with CF at indoor events.

We encourage you to read the policy and contact the CFT office with any questions or concerns.

Become a Member

Cystic Fibrosis Tasmania has two types of membership

  • Membership for adults with CF
  • Membership for parents/carers of children with CF

To access the many member benefits, you must hold a current financial membership of CFT. Membership fees are kept very low to ensure that it is affordable for our community. When a child turns 18, they must enrol as a member in their own right.

Volunteering

How you can make a difference for Tasmanians living with CF

CFT only has a team of three part-time staff members. Without our volunteers’ generous support, running the many events we do throughout the year wouldn’t be possible. These events provide us with much-needed income to continue supporting the many Tasmanians living with CF and their families. However, they also raise awareness and bring together the loved ones of people with CF, fostering a sense of community.

We have many different volunteering opportunities each year. Some of these are our regular events, such as the 65 Roses Ladies Lunch, Gala Ball or Quiz Night, and one-off opportunities. You don’t need to have any experience in volunteering. We take you through everything so you feel comfortable doing the tasks required.
