Meet our Team
Paula Wriedt
CEO
Paula started as the inaugural CEO of CFT in March 2010. Having spent 13 years as a member of Tasmania’s House of Assembly, including ten years as a Senior Minister in the Labor Government, Paula has brought a strong network of contacts across the Tasmanian community. In late 2011 Paula was elected to Kingborough Council, and in July 2021, Paula became Mayor, a position she continues to fulfil alongside her work with CFT.
Holding a Master of Business Administration and a Diploma of Management, Paula has extensive experience in the Not for Profit sector, on various boards and committees and across multiple levels of Government. In March 2023, Paula was inducted into the Tasmanian Honour Roll of Women. Paula is a passionate advocate for the CF community. She doesn’t hesitate to take every opportunity to raise the profile of CF, even if it requires participating in fundraising challenges whilst dressed in crazy red outfits.
